Because a lot of applications do not allow to copy the text displayed on the palm, ClipStringHack automatically records the texts displayed in the clipboard. Use it, for example with a well known application recovering data from Internet at hotsync...

It is possible, the main reason is that the app does not use the standard method to write on the screen and that the developper rewrote its own routines implementing the well known computer sentence "Why make simple when one can make complicated ?" ClipStringHack records only the text, not the presentation nor the font change, etc. which facilitate the reading. When one goes from one page to another some programs take again the last line of text as the first line of the new screen, this line will be duplicated in the clipboard.
